Ari Gold Wins Songwriting Contest

Out music artist Ari Gold won the overall grand prize as well as first place in the pop category at the 12th annual USA Songwriting Competition with his song "Where the Music Takes You." He shares the honor with cowriters Joe Hogue and Sean Petersen.

The song spent three weeks as the top song on Sirius OutQ satellite radio. Several other Gold compositions have broken through on the Billboard Dance Charts, and his "All About You" was a top 10 hit in the United Kingdom. (The Advocate)
