Out actor George Takei heads back to outer space this weekend when the Star Trek alum guest-stars in an episode of The Disney Channel series The Suite Life on Deck.
The show follows two brothers who live on a ship that travels the world. Takei guest-stars as the grandfather of London, one of the main characters, played by Brenda Song.
Check out a preview of the episode below, in which Takei is clearly balancing his Trekkie fan base with his gay following.

        Global pop star Demi Lovato will perform at the 37th annual GLAAD Media Awards on March 5 in Los Angeles, with actor and producer Jonathan Bennett returning to host a ceremony that will stream exclusively on Hulu later this month, GLAAD announced Monday. The event will spotlight LGBTQ+ representation across film, television, music, and journalism. The Advocate, along with its sister publication, Out, is among the nominees for Outstanding Magazine.
