Bruce Cohen, the award-winning producer of the film Milk, will be one of the producers for next year's Oscars, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Cohen will partner with Don Mischer, a notable awards show producer, to present the 83rd Oscars.
The two are no strangers to making lavish events come to life. Mischer led 15 Emmy Awards shows and the Director's Guild Association honored him for his work during The Obama Inaugural Celebration at the Lincoln Memorial.
The Oscars will not be the first joint effort by the duo. Cohen and Mischer collaborated on a CBS special about music and film, Movies Rock, and organized the Academy's Inaugural Governors Awards Ceremony.
Cohen and Mischer are first-time Oscar producers and replace directors Adam Shankman and studio chief Bill Mechanic, who produced the Oscars this year.
