10. BOOK: Naked; Turn on Sports: The Best in Erotic Sports Photography; Trunk Show: Swimwear Inspires Art; and Gay Porn Heroes: 100 Most Famous Porn Stars
Get an eyeful of these new photo books from LGBT publisher Bruno Gmunder: Dylan Rosser leaves little to the imagination in Naked, his latest collection of beautiful men; noted photographers team up to shoot athletes with their equipment for Turn on Sports; editor Jason Salzenstein compiles images of guys in swimwear for Trunk Show; and JC Adams celebrates four decades of iconic male adult entertainers in Gay Porn Heroes.
9. DVD: The Smurfs
Hollywood's latest big-budget expression of '80s nostalgia stars Neil Patrick Harris as a cosmetics marketing exec who saves a displaced blue man group. You know Katy Perry voices Smurfette, but listen for Alan Cumming as Gutsy Smurf and The Daily Show's John Oliver as fancy, flower-wearing Vanity, a good candidate for The A-List: Smurf Village. Also look for Tim Gunn's Tim Gunn impression and a cameo by Michael Musto.
8. DVD: Friends With Benefits
Will Gluck's likable romantic comedy -- which makes itself look better by making fun of other rom-coms -- stars Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis as recently dumped damaged goods who try striking up a sexual relationship with no strings attached. Woody Harrelson is an unexpected treat as JT's flirtatious coworker, a confident and horny gay GQ sports editor who enjoys basketball, boating, and ogling male models at photo shoots.
7. DVD: Adele Live at the Royal Albert Hall; Beyonce Live at Roseland: Elements of 4; Kylie Minogue: Aphrodite Les Folies Live in London; and Britney Spears Live: The Femme Fatale Tour
Divas live: Adele's glorious concert film, which features a cover of Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me," includes backstage footage and a live CD; Bey's intimate performance of 4 comes with an anthology of 4's videos; Britney acts like an ass-kicking secret agent and -- gasp! -- sometimes sings live in her latest show; and Dolce & Gabbana goddess Kylie's ethereal concert is paired with an exclusive tour documentary.
6. DVD: Dieux du Stade 2012: The Making of the Calendar
The only thing sexier than the annual Dieux du Stade calendar? The calendar's making-of documentary, in which those picture-perfect French rugby players are set into beautiful motion. Photographed by Francois Rousseau in his third collaboration with these "gods of the stadium," the theme of this special 10th anniversary edition tells the story of survivors from a strange lost world trying to board a ship and -- whatever, they're so hot.
5. DRAG: That Ain't No Lady! and Icons
Drag queens are trashin' Times Square! The legendary Lady Bunny deliciously declasses cabaret with wickedly raunchy parody songs in That Ain't No Lady! at La Escuelita Cabaret Theater. In Icons, an over-the-top interactive show at the Snapple Theater Center, Dennis Williams and Ricardo Torres outrageously impersonate divas like Lady Gaga, Madonna, and Beyonce. For more info visit LadyBunny.net and IconsNYC.com.
4. DVD: Our Idiot Brother
Jesse Peretz's terrific little ensemble comedy stars Paul Rudd as a lovable pot-smoking man-child -- and an annoying nightmare for his three uptight sisters, played by Elizabeth Banks, Emily Mortimer, and Zooey Deschanel. New Girl's Deschanel is as adorkable as ever as Natalie, a bisexual hipster who's unfaithful to her loyal girlfriend Cindy, a boyish lesbian lawyer played with gusto by Parks and Recreation's Rashida Jones.
3. MUSIC: Liquid Diet
Disbanded Whore's Mascara vocalists Billy Hanson (pictured) and Georgia Haege have joined forces with Electronathan to create sexy nouveau-disco trio Liquid Diet, kinky cool kids who crank out seriously infectious tunes like a dreamy electro cover of George Michael's "Father Figure" and refreshingly witty, flirty, narcissistic, super-gay party tracks "Nude" and "Hand Dance." Sample their music at SoundCloud.com/LiquidDiet.
2. FILM: Shame
Steve McQueen's intense and provocative psychosexual drama stars full-frontal-friendly Michael Fassbender (X-Men: First Class) as Brandon, a magnetically repulsive 30-something sex addict who hoards porn and prowls Manhattan for tawdry hookups, getting more and more out of control as he deals with his emotionally damaged sister (Carey Mulligan) -- and as evidenced by his indulgence in a gay bar's backroom, he doesn't discriminate.
