A Black gay couple finds family acceptance during the holidays in a heartwarming new ad from Etsy.

As part of its "Gift Like You Mean It" campaign, the e-commerce company tells the story of Brandon and David, who are meeting relatives for the first time as a couple at a festive get-together.

"Don't worry, they're going to love you," one assures the other in the clip as he waited nervously outside the door of the house.

Sure enough, once inside, the men find a seat at the table -- and a touching present from an older male relative. "We didn't forget about you. Welcome to the family," he tells them, before gifting an ornament embroidered with their faces and names.

The ad ends with the gift being placed next to a similar ornament with the other family members on a Christmas tree.

The Etsy ad, posted on YouTube last weekend, is the latest to feature LGBTQ+ family acceptance. In a recent queer "meet the parents" ad from Oreo, a female couple receives a rainbow sign of love from one of the women's dads.
