Orbitz Shines During Champions of Pride

Orbitz #TravelAsYouAre

During the annual celebration that you can watch here, Orbitz showcased inclusivity by highlighting how important it is to #TravelAsYouAre.

To kick off June, Orbitz partnered with The Advocate for the annual and highly anticipated Champions of Pride celebration. The virtual event was hosted at The Black Cat in Los Angeles by The Advocate's editor in chief, Tracy Gilchrist and the star of Freeform's Good Trouble, Sherry Cola. With captivating performances and guest appearances from Kat Cunning, Jake Wesley Rogers, Madeline the Person, Pabllo Vittar, and reigning queen of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 13, Symone, the event was nothing short of spectacular, thanks to Orbitz.

Carey Malloy

In an exclusive message, Orbitz's Director of Brand Marketing, Carey Malloy, shared how this year's Champions of Pride nominees are "resilient individuals [who] have triumphed in a time of great uncertainty." And that is most certainly the truth, the message, and the tea! With travel opening back up now more than ever before since the beginning of 2020, Orbitz underscored how important and meaningful it is to #TravelAsYouAre, in a way that echoes how this year's Champions of Pride "have lead with great compassion and empathy." Traveling is indeed a form of self-expression and self-guided leadership, which is why Orbitzis committed to uplifting the brave individuals within the LGBTQ+ community who choose to authentically travel in a way that is empowering and inspirational.
