Trenton Ducati, Free Speech Coalition, and the Palm Springs-based Desert AIDS Project join forces to connect adult performers to healthcare, mental health care, as well low, or no-cost, access to PrEP. Read more below.
"PrEP is a revolutionary tool in the prevention of HIV, but as a producer I was surprised at the number of performers with little or no information about it, or who were misinformed about effects, costs, and ease of access," Ducati told his partner in the program, Free Speech Coalition.
Eric Paul Leue, executive director of the FSC, described the Next Steps Program to XBIZ.com as "a crucial first step in making community-affirming care accessible to the performers and other sex workers."
"By bringing together stakeholders from our community, and meeting them where they live and work, the Next Steps Program will make a marked difference in the mental, physical and sexual health of adult performers," said Leue. "We hope this pilot program in the Coachella Valley will become a model for health departments and outreach organizations nationwide."
Photos here are from the recent launch of the program at Trenton Ducati's splendid event at CCBC, Porn Disco, a three day sex-positive event with music, entertainers, and free love, all in a clothing optional setting.

To call this three day event in the desert "sex positive" would be an understatement. Well done, boys.
