Acclaimed gay author Felice Picano will be hosting a reception at the Stonewall Library and Archives to promote the release of his new book, Tales: From a Distant Planet. Considered a key founder of modern gay literature, Picano has published 20 volumes of fiction, poetry, and memoirs. He has also founded two publishing companies: the Sea Horse Press and Gay Press of New York.

The event will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, at the Stonewall Library and Archives, 1717 N. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The reception will include light refreshments. Admission is free. For more information, call (954) 763-8565 or visit the Stonewall Library online.
