The Golden Gate Business Association announced the appointment of Katherine Dean as its new executive director on Monday.
The Golden Gate Business Association announced the appointment of Katherine Dean as its new executive director on Monday. She will replace the outgoing John D'Alessandro as leader of the nation's oldest LGBT Chamber of Commerce, according to a press release.
Dean boasts more than 25 years of managerial experience, including as CEO of several startup companies. For the last eight years, she has consulted for small companies and Fortune 500 firms in marketing and strategic planning.
The Golden Gate Business Association, founded in 1974, represents nearly 500 LGBT businesses in the San Francisco Bay area.
