Capturing the chaos of primary season is Caucus! The Musical, which plays Des Moines during those heady days. Twenty characters, all residents of the Hawkeye State, play a pivotal role in the presidential nomination process. The full-length play by Robert John Ford features 12 original songs by Ford, including "Anything for a Vote" and "The Tough Question Sidestep."
