Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton celebrates her 62nd birthday on Monday, but the busy politician will not be taking the day off work.

According to the U.S. Department of State's website, Clinton will spend the day briefing about civil hiring in Afghanistan, meeting with Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew of Singapore, and holding a special press conference on the release of the 2009 Annual Report on International Religious Freedom.

Clinton has a lot to celebrate as her approval rating has soared, rising even higher than President Obama's.

Following a recent trip to Europe, Gallup reports that the secretary of State is now posting a 62% approval rating, compared to Obama's 56%.

"Clinton's current favorable rating ranks among her best in the 17 years Gallup has polled Americans about her," said the organization, reportsthe Los Angeles Times.

There is no official word on how the former senator plans to celebrate her birthday.
