Queen to Honor Alan Cumming

Theater and film actor Alan Cumming will receive one of the U.K.'s highest honors for his work as an entertainer and activist.
Cumming will be inducted into the Order of the British Empire on Tuesday, along with fellow honorees including Anna Wintour and Pierce Brosnan.
At a ceremony at Buckingham Palace, Queen Elizabeth will bestow the honor on Cumming.
His work includes the roles of Nightcrawler in X2, Billie Blaikie in The L Word, and Sandy Frink in the cult classic Romy and Michele's High School Reunion. The bisexual Cumming has also been a staunch advocate of gay and lesbian causes in the United States and Europe.
