Actress Glenn Close says kissing costar Judy Davis made her understand what it is like to be attracted to other women. In a DailyBeast.com column about her favorite movie roles, Close says the kiss "was kind of revelatory for me, a real frisson moment. I'll never forget it."
Close is referring to her acclaimed performance as Col. Margarethe Cammermeyer in the television biopic Serving in Silence, about the highest-ranking U.S. military officer to come out during service. Close also reveals that the film is one of her favorites because the real Cammermeyer was around during the shoot.
