The tale of two ABBA-loving Aussie drag queens and their curmudgeonly transgender pal who take their show on the road through the Australian outback is headed to North America. Adapted from the Oscar-winning 1994 film, Priscilla Queen of The Desert, The Musical is set to open on Broadway March 6, 2011.
The West End cast currently includes Oliver Thornton (as Felicia/Adam), Jason Donovan (as Mitzi/Tick), and Don Gallagher (as Bernadette), but it isn't known whether those actors will repeat their roles in the Broadway production.
