Police in Tel Aviv have discovered a new clue in their investigation of the attack on a gay youth center that left two people dead and 11 wounded in the summer of 2009.
According to Ynetnews, the clue involves a trait shared by 1,000 people, so the police work is far from finished. The investigation has been kept under wraps since August when an unidentified gunman opened fire in the youth counseling center and unleashed the most lethal antigay assault ever in Israel.
"But it appears that new evidence has emerged from laboratory tests, which uncovered an element shared by thousands of Israelis," reported Ynetnews. "Police mapped out the population and filtered out a thousand people with whom they intend to speak personally and test."
