The site lets readers vote on whether they find notable figures annoying. The out actor, who plays half of a gay couple on the hit sitcom, currently has a 41% annoyance rating.
Listed among the presumably sarcastic reasons he might be annoying are:
He is a gay man best known for portraying a gay man in Mitchell Pritchett. That's a bit of a stretch.
His dad kept forgetting about his sexual orientation on several occasions growing up.
Reasons he might not be annoying include:
He enjoys the fact that he gets to play one half of a gay couple that is portrayed like a regular couple on Modern Family.
Like most of the adult cast of Modern Family, he was nominated for an Emmy for his work on the show's first season.
He got to work with Al Pacino in a Central Park production of The Merchant of Venice in the summer of 2010.
