Newsweek writer Ramin Setoodeh, who wrote a controversial article last year claiming that out gay actors cannot play straight roles, appeared on The Joy Behar Showto revisit the issue Tuesday night.

Celebrity publicist Howard Bragman also joined the conversation, which found Setoodeh offering little in the way of new arguments.

Asked why Hollywood always casts straight actors in gay roles, like in Brokeback Mountain, he said, "I don't know. I wrote a piece asking that."
