Anne Hathaway will get her wish.
Glee creator Ryan Murphy confirmed at Sunday's Golden Globes that he had finalized a deal that night for Anne Hathaway to guest-star on the show.
"She's already created [her role]," he said. "She wants to play the lesbian aunt of Chris Colfer. Because everyone needs a lesbian aunt."
Murphy said Hathaway wasn't the only star to push for a spot on the show during the Globes.
"They always do," he said. "I can't even think of who. But it's so sweet. I think they support the show because it's about the arts."
