Isherwood Film Is Divinely Decadent

Seminude young men sunbathing, a man being whipped in a dark room in Berlin, and Sally Bowles -- the trailer for the upcoming drama Christopher and His Kind promises one of the gayest television films of the season.

The BBC adaptation of the classic Christopher Isherwood novel chronicles the formative years of the acclaimed writer after he escapes this repressive life in England and moves to decadent pre-war Berlin. Doctor Who's Matt Smith stars in the title role. It will premiere on BBCTwo March 19.
