Pop star Robyn, who's scheduled to perform at this year's Coachella Festival in California as well as the White Party in Palm Springs, appreciates her gay fans and understands why they appreciate her.
"I've always felt like an outsider," the Swedish chanteuse told Frontiers magazine. "I think the gay community just gets me, and I'm very lucky to have that audience -- it's a very loyal and dedicated audience."
"I think a big part of my audience is gay because I make dance music and club music," she said, "and that culture came out of gay culture -- but also because having an understanding of outsider culture has always been in my music."
Robyn's full interview with Frontiers will be out Monday.
