Gay Groom's Wedding Flash Mob to Gaga's 'Stupid Love' Sparks Joy

Flash Mob

Some naysayers on social media criticized the romantic gesture but love still wins.

A Salt Lake City-based fitness instructor and aerialist revived the wedding flash mob when he surprised his husband-to-be with an impromptu dance to Lady Gaga's "Stupid Love."

On National Coming Out Day, Brock Dalgleish posted a video to TikTok of him walking down the aisle with his groom, Riley Jay Barrington. Dalgleish stopped, whipped off his jacket, and began to dance with the wedding party to the Gaga hit as Barrington looked on with joy.

"This was my dream come true. Wedding flash mob with all of my people," Dalgleish wrote along with the TikTok video.

Comments posted to the video were widely supportive of Dalgleish's surprise for his husband, but the video sparked petty tweets from naysayers mocking the effort. Others came to the defense of the grand romantic gesture and called the others out as essentially joyless.
