You know how when you get the perfect costume together and you know people will fall out when they see how great you look? Then you check it out in the bathroom mirror and you're kind of, huh. Eli Borges takes photos that show you how beautiful and amazing you really are, because he's a talented and generous dude.

Eli Borges, originally from Havana, Cuba, is a photographer living in Riverside Alabama . Although he works in customer service during the week, he makes time for his passion through his photography, Cubster Cosplay Photography. Born and raised in Havana, Cuba, immigrated to the United States in 2003.He was always fascinated by capturing certain moments. As a kid he remembers his old 35mm film camera and saving up money to have the film developed. The passion came back in 2014, and he started doing LGBT Pride events in Birmingham. Then, in 2017, he discovered the world of cosplay.

He had always liked superheroes and science fiction movies, but the idea of cosplay was new to him. Photography is his passion without a doubt. Inspiring and mentoring others to follow their dreams and passions is also something he likes to do. He is a teacher by heart, and he loves to pass his knowledge on to others while doing what he loves to do. Uplifting and making cosplayers happy is his first priority, spreading body positivity and self-esteem through his photography. He will be guest photographer at a local convention called Magic City Con In Birmingham in late June.

His friend James helps him when he has a booth at the conventions as well he provides moral support same as his husband Don. "I would be lost without them", he says. He one day hopes to travel to San Diego's ComicCon and BlizzCon but until then, he will continue spreading joy and happiness to others through his lens
