The Joe Biden-Kamala Harris campaign this week began airing ads featuring Black LGBTQ+ leaders from Wisconsin and Georgia, two battleground states in the presidential election.

The ads, airing on television and digital outlets across the country, feature Chris Walton, chairman of the Democratic Party of Milwaukee County in Wisconsin; Feroza, a transgender activist and original member of the House of Balenciaga; and Atlanta activists Jauan and Keon. They share their experiences and their reasons for supporting the Biden-Harris ticket.

In Walton's ad, he talks about seeing Biden as an ally because of his support for marriage equality, while Donald Trump has demonized LGBTQ+ people. In another ad, Feroza and Jauan discuss LGBTQ+ visibility and acceptance in a potential Biden-Harris administration, and in the third, Jauan and Keon note the importance of voting and the qualities that Biden and Harris bring to the ticket.
