In what is a monumental, history-making decision, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled earlier this morning that same-sex couples all over the nation have the consitituional right to marry.
Effectively striking down bans in 14 states that had still yet to embrace marriage equality, the court ruled 5-4 with its decision, holding that the Fourteenth Amendment requires a state to license a marriage between two people of the same sex.
