Pride is beautiful everywhere, but maybe just a little bit more in Waikiki. Read more below.
The 2017 Honolulu Pride Parade and Festival, held Saturday, wound a scenic route along Kalakaua Avenue through Waikiki. More than 20 events presented by sponsors, clubs, hotels, and community partners led to this year's parade and festival. More than 150 rainbow flags waved over Waikiki for 14 days, thanks to sponsors including businesses, community groups, families and individuals. And with more than 20,000 viewers, 60 parade entrants, 115 moving units and 1,000 participants, the Pride Parade continues to grow every year.
Thanks to Kelli Bullock of Kelli With an Eye Photography, our photographer in Hawaii, for getting all these great photos. There were so many to pick from we couldn't edit them down! So come back tomorrow for even more of these beautiful photos and the beautiful people of Hawaii.
