Queer Eye Spotlights Black Lesbian Teen in Season 3 Trailer
Queer Eye has dropped a trailer for season 3, showing that the reality makeover show is definitely not for straight guys anymore.
As in the first two Queer Eye seasons, out experts Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, and Tan France will use their unique skills to give a "make-better" to four "heroes."
The upcoming season, centered this time in Kansas City, Mo., includes a hero who is a black lesbian teen -- the first lesbian to be given a "make-better" by the group. The trailer shows an emotional exchange between the young person, who has struggled with acceptance, and Brown, the group's culture expert.
"You are a strong black lesbian woman," Brown tells the tearful teen.
Season 3 of Queer Eye will be released globally on Netflix March 15. A special four-episode miniseries, Queer Eye: We're in Japan!, will come out sometime afterward.
Watch the trailer for season 3, set to the tune of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Now That I Found You," below.
