The protesters of the Women’s March, the speech of Meryl Streep, the testimony of Sally Yates — these personages have been hailed as heroes for calling out injustice and resisting regression.
At the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s An Evening With Women — a fundraiser in support of the LGBT organization's health and housing services — The Advocate asked the special guests for names of those who have most impressed them with their advocacy.
