Xanadu Live! opens in Los Angeles

A stage version of the 1980 gay favorite Xanadu opens Thursday, October 11, in Los Angeles. Xanadu Live! features a cast of 24 roller skaters dancing and lip-synching through a loving homage to the Olivia Newton-John disco musical. Performances run through November 11 at the Gascon Center Theatre, 8737 Washington Blvd., in Culver City, Calif. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society's breast cancer program and Equity Fights AIDS. For tickets call (310) 289-2999.
