Sunday's Pride parade and PrideFest in Seattle were perhaps a little more jubilant than usual. Grand marshal and Washington State governor Christine Gregoire (above), in a historic move, signed marriage equality into law in February, calling it “a day that historians will mark as a milestone for equal rights.”

America's Gayest Cities Show Their Pride: Seattle
Seattle was among The Advocate's picks for 2012's Gayest Cities, and here are some photos from the Seattle Pride Parade celebrating this year's theme: The Many Faces of Pride. It's a special year for Washington, where marriage equality will be voted on during a statewide referendum.
