Comics Kathy Griffin, Margaret Cho, and Joan Rivers will serve as honorary grand marshals for the 2012 Las Vegas Pride parade as well as perform on the pride main stage September 7.
“We are very excited and proud to host an amazing trio of beauty and talent," says Las Vegas Pride president and parade chairman Ernie Yuen. "Best of all they all make us laugh. What a great way to start our spectacular event. This will be history-making for us, and I am sure the LGBT community will be out in full force to welcome these wonderful LGBT supporters.”
Cho will perform September 6 at the Mirage-Terry Fator Theatre, while Griffin will perform at the same venue two nights later.
Rivers will be at the Venetian September 6-8. For more information go to LasVegasPride.org.
If you can't make it to Vegas for the event, Gay.net will be live-streaming the Pride parade via Cox Communications and Here TV.
