National HIV Prevention Conference to be held June 12-15 in Atlanta
The 2005 National HIV Prevention Conference, the only major U.S. meeting focusing exclusively on the scientific advances in stopping the spread of HIV, will be held June 12-15 in Atlanta. The conference will include thousands of community, academic, and government experts from across the country, who will share effective prevention approaches and research findings and strengthen collaborations between program practitioners and researchers in such areas as behavioral interventions, vaccine development, monitoring the epidemic, implementing rapid tests for HIV diagnosis, and improving access to early prevention and treatment services, organizers say. The event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 265 Peachtree St. NE. For more information or to register for the conference call (866) 277-6313, send e-mail to info@2005hivprevconf.org, or go online to www.2005hivprevconf.org .
