The world's eyes were on Rio de Janeiro this summer when the Summer Olympics touched down. Against all odds, the event went off without a major hitch. But the city — and especially its LGBT citizens — still face significant struggles. At this weekend's Pride event at Copacabana Beach, revelers celebrated their wins, but also advocated for more government support of trans rights and other advances.
