Ellen DeGeneres to host Emmy Awards

Out comedian Ellen DeGenereswho will be returning to prime time in her new sitcom, Ellen, Again, this fallwill be hosting this years Emmy Awards, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The show will be broadcast live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on September 16. DeGeneres has cohosted the show before, sharing the duties with Home Improvements Patricia Richardson, in 1994.
