Reuters reports that openly gay Pop Idol winner Will Young will go on tour throughout the United Kingdom with two of that show's runners-up, Gareth Gates and Zoe Birkett. The 14-date itinerary is schedule to begin October 3 and 4 at London Arena. Following the tour announcement, Young and Gates gave a surprise concert in London's Covent Garden, singing songs from the forthcoming Pop Idol--The Big Band Album, which features the teen heartthrobs performing swing-era tunes like "Mack the Knife" and "I Won't Dance."
