Lance Loud remembered in new Web site and TV special

On January 6 (check local listings), PBS will present Lance Loud! A Death in the American Family. This new documentary looks at the last days of former Advocate columnist Lance Loud, whose coming out on the influential reality series An American Family in the early 1970s remains a television and cultural landmark. The Loud family will soon be launching a Web site, www.TheLouds.com, which will offer additional information and merchandise.
