 Variety reports that the screen adaptation of out author Augusten Burroughs's memoir Running With Scissors is becoming a star-studded affair, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Brian Cox joining Annette Bening in the film, and actors Evan Rachel Wood (Thirteen) and Joseph Fiennes in negotiations. The film will be written and directed by Ryan Murphy, the openly gay creator of Nip/Tuck and Popular, and will be released by Sony's recently revitalized TriStar Pictures shingle. Production is set to start March 7 in Los Angeles.
