El Deseo, the Madrid-based production company run by out director Pedro Almodovar and his brother Agustin Almodovar, is entering the TV world with a new dramedy series called Mujeres (Women), according to Variety. The show deals with the urban life of a grandmother, her 40-something daughter, and her teenage granddaughter. Mujeres is set to premiere on Spain's TVE1 network in September. Also on the El Deseo production slate is The Secret Life of Words, starring Tim Robbins and Sarah Polley, from director Isabel Coixet (My Life Without Me, Things I Never Told You).
