Simon Callow, Jane Horrocks, and other celebrities will perform for Queen Elizabeth II at a concert marking the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II. Some 12,000 people, including other royals, lawmakers, and veterans, will attend the concert on National Commemoration Day, July 10, the government said Wednesday. The event, which will be broadcast live by British Broadcasting Corp. television, will be held in the Horse Guards Parade near Buckingham Palace. Callow, who appeared in the movie Four Weddings and a Funeral, will perform along with Horrocks, star of the film Little Voice and television's Absolutely Fabulous comedy series: Horrocks is celebrated for her imitation of wartime songstress Gracie Fields. Also appearing will be singers Petula Clark and Claire Sweeney.
