The gay Oscar-winning producers of American Beauty are moving into television. Dan Jinks and Bruce Cohen have signed a two-year production deal with Warner Bros. Television, saying they intend to develop both dramas and comedies. "We're looking for the same things that we look for in features--brilliant writers with unique, distinct voices," said Cohen. Last year they helped shepherd the Showtime police drama pilot Hate . Their recent feature credits include 2003's Big Fish and last year's Julianne Moore thriller The Forgotten .
