The L.A. Stage Alliance Ovation Awards honored Del Shores for a revival of three plays, "A Season of Shores." Dale Dickey took the Featured Actress in a Play Award for her portrayal of Odette Annette Barnett in Southern Baptist Sissies. Another play by Shores, The Trails and Tribulations of a Trailer Trash Housewife, received the Ensemble Performance Award.
The players are currently on a national tour ending this weekend in Fort Lauderdale at the Broward Center's Parker Playhouse. (The Advocate)
