Scissor Sisters will set out on December 31 to ring in the New Year five times in an international collaboration with other groups. A massive event slated with the Black Eyed Peas, Nelly Furtado, and others to be announced will perform in Berlin, Hong Kong, Mumbaai, New York City, and Rio de Janeiero. Scissor Sisters will take on Germany at the Brandenberg Gate. The international event is sponsored by Nokia and will be simulcast on television and online. (The Advocate)
