Billy
Cogar
, formerly Here Networks' manager of original
programming, has been promoted to director of
development. In his new position,
Cogar
will act develop new talent and projects for
the company as well as in-house creative executive for
original and non-original programming.
Cogar will report to
the Vice President of Original Programming,
Meredith Kadlec.
The network went
through what Jonathan Aubry, Here's director of
corporate and marketing communications, called "a
restructuring." Former director of development Matt
Freeman is now the director of production.
Here is a
gay-oriented cable channel established in 2002 that
features original content such as The DL
Chronicles, a series focusing on men of color who
secretly enjoy sexually duplicitous lives; The
Lair, a vampire horror series; and Dante's
