Turner Classic Movies' Guest Programmer series, usually a once a week affair, is going to run every day in November, with the likes of Whoopi Goldberg, Matt Groening, Martha Stewart, and Rose McGowan taking over the airwaves.
The stars will introduce one of their favorite classic films--such as The African Queen, Manhattan, and Divorce, Italian Style--and discuss why the movie resonates for them. In addition to the 29 celebs participating during November, a lucky New York City viewer who won an online TCM contest will also moderate a program. His favorite films, which include The Greatest Show on Earth, will air on Thanksgiving Day. (The Advocate)
