GLAAD Media Award Nominees Announced

Nominees for the 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards have been announced, with contenders including films such as Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire and A Single Man, and musical artists such as Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert. Sex and the City Star Cynthia Nixon (pictured) will be honored at the first awards ceremony in New York City on March 13.

Presented across many categories in English and Spanish, the GLAAD Media Awards recognize news coverage and entertainment media for exceptional coverage of LGBT news stories and lives.
