Randy Rainbow, our favorite reinterpreter of news, has taken on another important cultural moment.

The internet went wild Wednesday when White House adviser Kellyanne Conway took to the airwaves and proudly defended the "commander of cheese" from accusations of pettiness.

Trump had just disinvited the entire Philadelphia Eagles football team from visiting the White House. They were supposed to show up for a little celebration, as teams always do when they win the Super Bowl. Not so with this president, the commander of cheese, whose feelings were hurt.

A huge number of players refused to come to Trump's party because of his attacks on black players kneeling during the national anthem. So he said, fine, I didn't want you here anyway. Instead he threw a party for patriotism and invited his friends from the Republican National Committee.
