The love story of Daniel Hall and Vincent Franchino
In what was the first same-sex marriage of active-duty personnel at the West Point military academy in New York State, Daniel Hall and Vincent Franchino wed January 13. The two men are Apache helicopter pilots, stationed in El Paso, Tex. Hall and Franchino met in 2009 as students at West Point, began dating in 2012 -- just a few months after "don't ask, don't tell" was repealed -- and the rest is history.
