Chicago, The Hours, Far From Heaven among SAG nominees

Nominations for the ninth annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced Tuesday, with Chicago leading the pack with five, followed by four for the lesbian-themed epic The Hours. Dennis Quaid scored a nod for playing a closeted gay husband in Todd Haynes's Far From Heaven, and Julianne Moore picked up two--one each for her roles as '50s housewives in The Hours and Heaven. Salma Hayek's performance as bisexual artist Frida Kahlo in Frida was acknowledged, as was Stockard Channing's portrayal of Judy Shepard in NBC's The Matthew Shepard Story.
