Mike Jones will read from his memoir, I Had to Say Something, at the West Hollywood, Calif., bookstore Book Soup. Jones, a paid escort, made headlines last November when he revealed that Ted Haggard, head of the New Life Church and the 30 million-strong National Evangelical Association, had been his client for three years. The memoir follows Jones's outing of Haggard--their relationship, why Jones went to the press, and how he is coping with the aftermath.

The reading will take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 23. Book Soup is located at 8818 Sunset Blvd. Admission is free. To order a signed copy of Jones's memoir or for more information, call (310) 659-3110.
