The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center will conduct Out Auction 2007, a live and silent art auction featuring almost 300 works by established artists as well as up-and-comers. Pieces available for bid will include drawings, paintings, ceramics, sculpture, and jewelry. This year's auction will feature acclaimed artists Don Bachardy, famous for his pencil portraits, and Lita Albuquerque, known for her paintings and sculptures linked with the California Light and Space movement.

The auction will be held on Saturday, June 23, at the Pacific Design Center, 8687 Melrose Ave., West Hollywood. A free public preview of the pieces up for bid will take place between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. The auction will take place 6 p.m.-10 p.m. Tickets are $65 and include access to the live and silent auctions, hors d'oeuvres, and cocktails.
