Online retail
behemoth Amazon.com is now selling a high-end designer
jewelry collection for gays, lesbians, and straight people
"who believe in equality, diversity, and
tolerance," company officials announced last week.
The Love & Pride collection, created by
former Israeli paratrooper Udi Behr, features almost
150 pieces for men and women, priced between $30 and
$5,000. The collection includes jewelry inspired by TV
series The L Word and Queer as Folk as
well as aviation-inspired items endorsed by model-actor
Reichen Lehmkuhl.
"The Love
& Pride collection is a beautiful addition to the
Amazon.com jewelry store," Peter Lai, director of
Amazon.com Jewelry & Watches, said in a
statement. "We know all of our customers
will be delighted and inspired by this innovative mix of
classic and unique styles."
The jewelry can
be found at www.Amazon.com/loveandpride and
is available now. (The Advocate)
